We stayed for the weekend at Cornerstone Cottage and would definitely recommend it to others. Lower Mill Estate is a beautiful location and the facilities (pools, spa, activities centre etc) were wonderful. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a really lovely welcome hamper and lots of support and information readily available from the hosts.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Cornerstone Cottage. We found the accommodation to be comfortable, clean and very well-equipped for both indoor and outdoor living.

The owners were communicative throughout and we felt that they were always on hand should any issues occur (which they didn't).

The Lower Mill Estate has an abundance of activities for a young family to do. That said, we largely used it as a base from which to explore the local area. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

We had a fantastic time staying at Tim & Vanessa's place. It's a gorgeous home and we had everything we needed to have a brilliant time - we also appreciated the small touches including a lovely welcome hamper. Tim and Vanessa were on the ball with communication both pre and during our stay. They provided lots of tips to make the most of our time and were quick to answer any queries we had. There were lots of fun activities and things to do, we loved hiring some kayaks but would definitely recommend you book ahead. A gorgeous time and would recommend.

We had the most wonderful time at Cornerstone! As a group, we've stayed in loads of Cotswolds accommodation, including about 5 times at Lower Mill and all agreed this was the best for for us. It was so well thought out in terms of provisions and the welcome hamper was hugely appreciated by all! The communication from the owners was 2nd to none the whole way through.The heated outdoor pool was just a couple of minutes walk which was fab for the children as well as the football field! We had lunch in Balihoo which is always delicious and used the indoor pool using the booking system. We will definitely be back and I'd book Cornerstone again if we can!

Despite poor weather there was lots to do. Especially the indoor and outdoor swimming. The house had everything we needed and there was lots of space for the grandchildren to play. The only thing worth pointing out is that we had difficulty finding the place on a dark and rainy Friday night. The lighting and signage on the estate is poor and we were not the only people blundering about. The only sign we found to the actual house number was not helpful as there were two unsigned turns after it. It is worth doing more work than we did in advance to make quite sure you know where you are going. But when you find it it's worth the effort.

We stayed in the Cornerstone Cottage for two days. A very nice house in a very nice location with lakes and beautiful walks. We also spent a few hours in the spa that was in the compound which was also very nice.

We had a great stay at Cornerstone cottage. It’s conveniently located within the Lower Mill estate, just a short walk to all of the onsite amenities. Vanessa and Tim were super helpful and communicative throughout the duration of our stay. We would definitely recommend.

We absolutely love the place , it is our second time now . Great location, beautiful cottage ( with everything you need inside) , very clean and organised. Tim and Vanessa are amazing, very friendly, helpful and absolutely on the top of everything. We just went and have a great time enjoying our family holiday. The spa was really good as well. Our kids are already asking us when we are going back .
Thank you for making our holiday so special and enjoyable. We will definitely visit you on regular basis.

Lovely area, 3 bathrooms, a downstairs loo,.superbly well equipped, excellent comms from hosts. Great walking, near Cirencester, good food, something for everyone. We loved the indoor pool and especially being able to use the super heated outdoor pool in February..Very nice to have the spa facility. Sadly we were let doen on a massage (which was meant to be a birthday treat) even though pre booked c two weeks ahead. Some luggage buggies on site or in cottage would be a real bonus as we had a lot of toing and froing of luggage, buggies and food.The book produced by the hosts was a real bonus for which many many thanks.
We were also very pleased to have the arrival and departure time flexibility shown by our hosts.

Tim and Vanessa were excellent hosts right from the point of booking. They ensured we had all the information we needed to a magical stay over the Christmas holidays.

The app/website was very useful before our stay and Tim was on hand to answer specific questions as well.

The stay was great too. Met all our expectations. The house was cozy and Christmassy. The kitchen was well equipped to make our full Christmas dinner.

The spa and other facilities were easy to find and great to have on the cold wet days.

Would happily recommend to others

We loved staying at Cornerstone Cottage.

The large kitchen table meant we could all have nice evening meals together and there is lots of space on the sofas so we could all watch a movie together too.

The beds were very comfy.

And obviously having a selection of pools with walking distance of the cottage, was fantastic.

We only stayed 2 nights, so I would love to come back and explore further as there is so much to do!

We had such a wonderful stay at Cornerstone Cottage for my special birthday celebration. Tim and Vanessa were excellent hosts, making sure that we had everything we needed. The house is clean,warm and cosy and well equipped for couples and families with young and older children.
The peace and tranquility of Lower Mill in low season was lovely. Various swimming pools for the children and an excellent spa. we enjoyed our strolls and G & T at the Balihoo Club bar/restaurant on site.
All in all a perfect birthday weekend and midweek break. Thank you Vanessa & Tim

We loved our stay in Cornerstone Cottage. The set up worked really well for us as two families each with two kids. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfy and we loved having barbecues out on the decking. The hosts were always on hand to answer any questions we had and the materials provided about the surrounding area and activities were really helpful. It's a perfect place to stay with kids as plenty to keep them entertained and we took full advantage of playpark, swimming, tennis and canoeing on our doorstep. A great find!

We had a lovely time at Cornerstone Cottage.It's in a quiet corner of the large estate, which has enough attractions to keep 2 toddlers and an 8 year old fully occupied - football, tennis and swimming every day kept dad fully active. Despite chilly and occasionally damp weather, we swam every day - best of allwas the outside heated pool, 2 minutes walk from the cottage. the cottage itself was very comfortable, and roomy enough for 8 people. The kitchen was well fitted out, and we enjoyed the very nice welcome pack - including biscuits, wine, chutney and jam. Communication with Tim and Vanessa was excellent - they provided us with lots of information and dealt with a minor problem with the hot water promptly and efficiently. All in all, an excellent week.

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at Cornerstone Cottage. It was lovely to have a decent kitchen to cook nice meals together, and a log fire to accompany a glass of wine! The pool and spa treatments on site made it a perfect little break - and we also enjoyed trips into Cirencester and picturesque Bibury nearby.

Cornerstone cottage is in a great location for walking, the spa onsite is very relaxing and the cottage itself is very cosy. We had lot of info in the lead up to our stay to provide information. Would deffo recommend.
