The moment you walk through the front door at Sunnybeach apartments you know you’ve made the right choice. The decor is modern and fresh and has that homely feel.
The Lighthouse studio apartment is compact but has everything you need for that well earnt get away. The views of Paignton seafront are stunning and having the small balcony enables you to take in the ambience of this ideal location.
Everything about Sunnybeach sums up quality. The Lighthouse studio is comfortable and well designed. I only wish we could have stayed a few extra days.
I would definitely recommend Sunnybeach. It has everything you need and more!

The Lighthouse Studio is small but perfectly formed. With its lovely outlook over Paignton seafront, it feels spacious and airy. The decor is very tasteful, everything I needed was there and the apartment was spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book at Sunnybeach Aparments if I am visiting Paignton again in the future.

We keep coming back here because for us it ticks every box. It's on the seafront, which means waking up to a seaview, having a ring-side view of anything happening such as bikers night, fireworks, anything on the sea, plus it's a one minute walk across the road for a quick swim, or a drink at the harbour before catching the ferry across to Brixham or Torquay. There is parking, which is a big thing for us travelling from North Bucks, it is within 2mins walk of the "High Street" for a pint, some shopping, or a jump on the steam-train to Dartmouth. Everything in the apartment is always spotless, the kitchen facilities are excellent, and there's even a smart TV for catching up on the soaps over breakfast while deciding what to do for the day! Already booked for next time!

This was our 4th visit to this apartment over the last few years, and we're already booked for summer 2024. As usual, it didn't disappoint. Big considerations for us are the location (particularly proximity to the harbour and the "high street"), the parking, the sea view, the facilities and the ease of check-in/out. While there's avaibility on the future dates we may want, I don't see us looking elsewhere when this place ticks all those boxes in spades.

We have stayed here a few times now and it has always been good. This time we stayed everything looked good on the surface but wasn’t quite as clean as usual when stripping the bed at the end of our stay the mattress cover was absolutely filthy, stained disgusting, very disappointed I would advise you if staying here to check the bed before you sleep in it don’t think we will be returning any time soon I would normally have given a five star rating, but standards seem to have slipped which is a shame as it is a beautiful location.

Was our third time of staying in this apartment, and was just as high a standard as usual. We book because of the sea/harbour/beach/shops location, the sea view, the easy parking and the very straightforward check in/out. We prefer self catering, so the excellent kitchen facilities are spot-on for us. The cleanliness of the whole place way exceeds expectations. We've just booked for around the same time next year, and are looking at a couple of extra shorter visits in between. Can't go wrong with this place/company.

What a lovely little studio flat. Just right for the two of us. Well equipped kitchen area. Cleaning products were supplied plus tea towels and oven gloves. The decor was clean and modern. There is a good view overlooking Paignton Beech. Having the small balcony was a bonus. It is only big enough for one to sit out but other furniture inside was comfy for sitting and reading. There is an interactive tablet with all the information needed for your stay. The only negative was the small shower room with toilet. Towels and bedding were supplied too. It’s in a good location. The town and shops a very short walk away, along with the train station and bus station.

We stayed in Sunnybeach's Lighthouse studio apartment last year for a week, and liked it so much we stayed again this year. It has everything we need for a self-contained/self-catered stay, it is extremely clean and stylishly decorated, it has extensive views of the front/sea, and it has parking. Located within 1min walk to the harbour, and 2/3 mins walk to the main street, pier etc, I don't really see what more we would need. We thought it was excellent value for money, the arrival/departure process is pretty effortless (crucial for us as we travel from North Bucks, and really don't want much messing about on arrival after the long drive down) and we will be booking up for next year too.

First the postives - great location - right on the seafront - we had a sea view with a balcony - parking right outside was a great positive and one of the reasons we chose this. You could walk to the harbor and the pier and into town very easily. The balcony was small and 1 person could stand on it - no seats and it had not been washed down or cleaned. We were charged extra for cleaning as we were only staying 2 nights - when you pay extra you expect it to be clean but the fridge was sticky and had spillage stains inside of it (I have photos). Another thing was there was no amenties of any kind - no welcome basket - no coffee - no tea - no soap - no toiletries thay you normally get in a place like this. If you want towels that is an extra charge too at GBP3.00 per person staying there but if there are 2 of you you cannot purchase 1 set you have to buy 2. It would be better if this was included in the room rate even if you have to increase the rate. This place has been upgraded recently but has some design features missing. For example there is nowhere in the bathroom (shelf or anything) to put washbags there are no hooks to hang wet towels - anywhere. The bathroom is small - definitely not a place for larger people - but there was room for a couple of hooks and a shelf The seating areas took up too much room - the furniture was too big for the space - I would suggest putting a small bistro set in the window and putting a love seat for better seating by the living/kitchen area. Also be aware you have to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs to get to the room so pack lightly!! Excellent choice of TV programs and the wifi worked great.

It was excellent accommodation. One thing that may be of help is being perhaps a bit picky, small shelf in bathroom for the usual potions and lotions we tend to travel with these days. Other than that, all was perfect.

We had an excellent stay in the Lighthouse Studio at Sunnybeach Holiday Apartment. Instruction to finding the location was sent via email the day before arrival, with a car park space right out front. we were provided with a keycode to collect the keys from the safebox outside the main entrance, which was super easy. Once entering the room we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment plus the fixtures and furniture was renovated to a very high standard. thick carpets, plush armchairs plus a very comfort bed were waiting for us. The kitchenette had all mod-cons and the toilet/shower was again of a very high standard. To top off the apartment was the sea view from the 'almost' wall to ceiling window & small balcony. I would highly recommend Sunnybeach Holiday Apartment for a stay in Paignton or the surrounding coast, as we visited Torquey, Brixham and Totnes all within 20mins drive.

We had a lovely stay at the sunnybeach apartments. The room had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. It was very clean and comfortable. We will certainly consider booking again for our next visit to Paignton
