Ultimately we were delighted with the stay. The cottage is very nicely fitted out with quality fixtures and fittings and is in a lovely location and has a large field and set of footpaths right behind it which was perfect for my dog. Living room sofas are quite uncomfortable but that is my only real criticism. Unfortunately our stay was slightly spoilt by building work be done on the adjoining cottage so we were disturbed by Jack Hammers during two of the days. Efforts were made to reduce this but nonetheless it did upset us a little as we felt forced to leave the cottage before we wanted to along with the attitude of the the property agent. However this is a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay.

We are dissapointed to know about the noise from the building works on the adjoining cottage. StayCotswold were unaware of these building works and if we had been informed then we would have notified you in advance of your stay. We hope that you will return to the Cotswolds soon.

I stayed in Dovecote cottage for a full week with friends and our children. We had the best time. The beds are amazingly comfortable and luxurious bathrooms with amazing water pressure and hot water supply for the countryside. The kitchen had wonderful amenities and also a very comfortable and stylish living room. Southrop has so many activities on its doorstep for adults and kids and I can't wait to go back.
