We really enjoyed our recent stay at Ringers Cottage in the lovely Cotswold village of Kingham. The location of the property was excellent for visiting many of the attractions in the area and easy to walk to the restaurants and shop in the village. A few observations regarding the property are -
-There should be more crockery ie. cups, plates, bowls and cutlery especially for four adults.
- There is no wardrobe or mirror in the bedroom in the roof space although space is limited due to the sloping roof.
- The property was very clean and tidy, however the garden would look a bit more inviting if there was a few more plants and flowers instead of the empty plot which was a vegetable patch.
Would certainly stay at this property again in the future.

We stayed at Ringers Cottage to celebrate my 50th birthday. What a wonderful place to celebrate such a special milestone. The cottage is beautiful with its original timeless features yet so modern inside and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The stairs are very steep & narrow which was fine for & 2 older children but may be tricky for elderly & toddlers. The decor is beautiful and the bedrooms very comfortable. The maintenance manager was very helpful as we had a problem with the shower and he came out & sorted it same day. Very handy having 3 shower rooms. The garden is gorgeous and as we were so lucky with the weather we enjoyed sitting out there at night star gazing. The Kingham Plough across the road was exceptional highly recommend for a perfect evening meal & drink in the garden watching the sunset. Places we visited nearby are Bourton-on-the-water, Burford, Clarkson’s Pub & Farm shop, Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold. The cottage is perfectly located for taking in the natural beauty of the whole area. We had an amazing time and We would love to stay again. Thank you Clare from Milton Keynes

We had a lovely weekend in Ringers cottage.
The cottage is full of character, clean and very well equipped. The village is pretty with a fantastic pub opposite the cottage and a lovely village green to the side. Another great pub at the other end of the street. Lots of nice walks and enclosed fields for the dog to run around in. Everyone was very friendly. Chipping Norton is 10/15 minutes away by car as is the Dylesford Farm shop and Garden Centre. Highly recommend for a Cotswolds stay.

The location of Ringers cottage was excellent & provided a great base. Dog friendly with a safe garden space & plenty of room for us all to enjoy outside. Very friendly neighbours who were happy to share local knowledge.

Inside the cottage was bigger than expected, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, but it was very hot on the upper floors. When the windows were open we found the road extremely noisy at all times throughout the night & early hours & all found it difficult to get much sleep.
Overall though more plus’s than negatives.

Thank you Jackie for your review of Ringers Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the location of the Cottage and found it a great base for your stay. It is lovely to know the garden space was appreciated by both your group and your dog, and that you felt welcomed by the friendly neighbours. We are glad that you found the cottage spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. We are sorry you were uncomfortably warm at night on the upper floors. The UK was experiencing a heatwave during your stay and as with most older buildings, if the upper windows are left closed heat will rise to these floors. It is very unusual for Kingham to experience noise throughout the night. Indeed, a particular concern for the owners is that guests respect the peace and quiet normally enjoyed by neighbouring residents. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Ringers Cottage. It’s a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village and a short drive from lots of great places in the Cotswolds. The local pub was lovely.
The cottage facilities were amazing. Difficult to navigate the stairs, as very steep and the top floor beds only suit small children. Ours are 17 and 12 and struggled with the size of the twins.
The owner is very accommodating and helpful and if we were coming back without the kids I’d have no hesitation booking the cottage again, it really was wonderful. Thank you.

Thank you Laura for your review of Ringers Cottage. We are delighted that you found the property to be beautiful, to have amazing facilities and in beautiful village location. As is often the case in a character period cottage, the staircase is indeed steep and winding. The top bedroom has a hotel style zip and link king size bed which can be split into two and set up as a twin. We hope you will be back to stay again soon!
