The Staircase is a beautifully converted two bedroom apartment situated just off The Square in the historic market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. With cosy interiors and restored original features, this is the perfect place for a romantic retreat or family getaway!

Ideally situated on the square, right in the middle of everything, but totally peaceful . The Staircase was really comfortable and very clean. Very well equipped and very good quality pots, pans. The only one thing I would recommend would be to have some curtains or blinds in the sitting area. Wonderful stay. Would definitely go back again.

A lovely character but modern accommodation with everything you need for a quiet stay tucked away but in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold. Perfect location for exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds and we can highly recommend The Staircase.

We had a wonderful stay at The Staircase. It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, and is in an excellent location. The only issue was that the curtain that you can see in the photo, to cover the glass front wall and door, was not there! So the whole living room/dining area is rather on display because there was no curtain or blind. We were able to park in the market square for unloading etc. and also overnight (the 2-hour limit applies in the daytime only).

Great apartment with a excellent location. Unfortunately when we arrived the place was very cold. The boiler wasn't working. I called the emergency number provided, a maintenance man arrived two hours later who fixed the problem. Luckily for us he hadn't left when there was a power cut which lasted about 15 minutes. Not the best of starts to are break. We didn't have time to get showered before going out to dinner as we had already booked a table and didn't want to be late. We really enjoyed are stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

You can’t get a better location right in the middle of town, yet so quiet. Plenty of places to eat and the pub next door was excellent with fabulous helpful staff and great food. Would definitely recommend this as a central base for visiting the area

Excellent for a short stay in Cotswolds. Easy parking at nearby Tesco long stay. Generally found close parking in Square for loading / unloading. Would recommend and would definitely consider a return stay

We have stayed in many cottages over the years and nothing could beat this one, perfect, right in the centre of Stow, with all the super restaurants, cafes and shops just on your doorstep, but very quiet, set just off the square.
The Staircase was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could wish for, we felt immediately at home. We hope to return very soon.

We had a lovely long weekend in this gorgeous apartment right in the heart of Stow On The Wold. The apartment was pleasantly very well equipped so had we stayed longer, we would have had everything we needed (washing machine, dishwasher, clothes airer, iron and ironing board, a huge variety of cooking equipment etc) The apartment was very clean, the beds had wonderful pillows and duvets and there were soft fluffy towels that actually smelt of fabric softener. There were some extra touches on arrival such as a pint of milk in the fridge, a packet of biscuits to go with the tea and coffee in the cupboard and a couple of lamps had been left on so we didn't have to fumble our way in in the dark. The location is great as there are a variety of places to eat in the village ranging from coffee shops for tea and cake, pubs (The Bell does a nice Pinot Grigio!) through to restaurants offering three course meals but if you wanted to stay in and cook, the apartment has everything you need. There are lots of shops in the village too and it's a short drive to other locations to explore such as Bourton On The Water or Burford. We found booking through StayCotswold very easy. We received a comprehensive email before our stay with information on how to find and access the apartment, who to contact if there were any issues, where to park, information on the wi-fi etc which was so useful to have in advance and they had clearly taken the time to provide as much information as possible. There was also a folder in the apartment with information about the central heating, how to use the oven etc. We will certainly be recommending The Staircase and StayCotswold to family and friends and hope to return to explore another location again soon.

This was our first experience with this type of holiday. The customer service while we were making enquiries for booking were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was ideally located and the security gate was reassuring. The Staircase was immaculate, comfortable and provided a relaxing environment. Everything was to a very high standard. The mezzanine provided a nice space for our son to chill out and play also. It felt like a ' home from home' for the three of us and we would definitely choose to come again if in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "The Staircase", so much nicer than staying in a B&B. Quality of accommodation was very high indeed. Stow-on-the-Wold is a beautiful place.

This apartment is very clean and well equipped. The central location in Stow is handy for all local amenities including some good restaurants and bars.

We parked in the longstay near Tesco which was only a short walk away.

Very comfortable double bed. Would not hesitate to recommend and would stay again.

Tucked away but right in the heart of the village, this is a fabulous apartment. Tastefully decorated, really comfy beds and very well equipped. Highly recommended.

The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday retreat:
- great amenities that you may need during weekly stay
- just nearby shops, bars and restaurants
- in the centre of the town but in quiet location
- so close by to amazing footpaths, just from your door

The only issue was a WiFi that was on the slow side but it is enough for holidays, may be a bit too less for working intensively from home.
