We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pilgrim Cottage. The house is well stocked with all the essentials you need for a short stay. The cottage is quite quirky inside in terms of decor, but really tastefully designed. The beds were very comfy. The bells at the Church do ring on the hour every hour which you can hear with the window open at night. The road is quite narrow but we did find a parking space every day.

The cottage has been beautifully restored
With quality fixtures and fittings and beautifully dressed. Our only criticism is there needs to be blinds on the second bedroom windows. Also being in our mid 70s struggled with the Apps on the TV.

Wir haben selten ein so schön saniertes und mit so viel Geschmack eingerichtetes Haus gesehen. Es ist so warm und gemütlich eingerichtet.Die Heizung funktioniert schnell und tadellos, das Geschirr ist überaus geschmackvoll ausgesucht, die Bettwäsche exzellent, der Kontakt war sehr unkompliziert. Jeder Innenarchitekt würde dem Haus eine Supernote geben.
Dankeschön , dass wir dort wohnen durften.

Amazing weekend away. The house is just lovely with everything you could think of provided. The house is beautifully decorated and so comfortable! I was happy to stay imdoors all weekend but of course the beautiful countryside and village which is literally on the doorstep meant that was impossible to ignore. Lovely pubs close by with a great village store. Thoroughly recommend pilgrim cottage.

Pilgrims Cottage is warm, clean, cosy and beautifully furnished and equipped with every comfort provided.
We had a short stay and walked from the cottage, finding good routes in every direction.
The beds are really comfortable, bedrooms well furnished, sitting room cosy and the kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped. The garden has steep steps up but is useful with a dog.

An idyllic stay in Blockley!

We had such an incredible time staying in Pilgrim cottage in Blockley! It’s right next door to the Crown Hotel which has incredible food (be sure to try the ramen!) and a fun atmosphere. It’s a 5 min walk to the Blockley cafe and shop, you MUST get a scone at the cafe!
The cottage itself was like a fairytale, gorgeous exposed ceiling beams, beautiful stone floors, cozy wood burning fireplace, the most comfortable beds and perfectly decorated!
If we return to Blockley again, we will definitely be staying in this cottage again!
