Our third stay at Rhos cottages, this time at Rhos Wen. Once again the accommodation was excellent. Spacious lounge, large well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. The sauna was great too. The garden is large and well kept, with a nice bench where you can sit and listen to the sounds of the countryside or just read in peace and quiet. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Anwen called in to make sure everything was OK, and we chatted for quite some time, which was nice. As above- very welcome - hate around the car, swallows gathering for their return flight and a comfortable warm house.
We have stayed in this lovely house several times now and have already booked for next year. The snooker room is a real bonus for the evenings and any poor weather, although we were very lucky with the weather this year. The area is beautiful and only a 15 min drive to the beach ar Criccieth, a lovely seaside town with a castle. The house is very comfortable and well equipped and the bbq and patio a bonus. There are castles, boat trips and narrow gauge railways all within an easy drive,
