The Shepherds view cottage is amazing! Unbelievable view out of the upstairs window. All the gadgets & mod cons anybody could ask for. The arrival hamper was a real plus ! Simon & Carole were excellent hosts. The Stag Inn & the post box pantry in the village are a must visit.
Another lovely 1 night stay at the Potting Shed while walking the Penine Way. A unique ‘shed’ tucked away in a secluded corner of the owners garden, really nicely and interestingly decorated with pretty much all the facilities you could want. And bunk beds! Generous supplies are also provided for breakfast and packed lunches. Dufton is a beautiful village with a great pub. There was also a mobile pizza van when we stayed, excellent pizzas. Dufton is right on the Pennine Way. Strong recommend!
