Vale Farm Cottages are traditional barns that have been converted into cosy cottages combining character with modern living. Nestled deep in the heart of Wales within the picturesque Hamlet of Lower Chapel, these beautiful cottages are surrounded by scenery that could not fail to impress.
Situated on the Edge of the Brecon Beacons amongst beautiful countryside on a traditional working farm which is close to Brecon, Builth Wells, Hay on Wye, Crickhowell and Abergavenny. Located on a traditional working farm with cows and sheep. We also have a small play area for children with swings and a slide, plus a large grassed area for playing ball games.
Vale Farm Cottages cater from 4- 11 guests, they all feature original oak beams in all the rooms and have spacious living rooms with French doors opening onto views of Pan-y-Van and the Black mountains in a farm court yard setting, ideal for al fresco dining or a barbeque. A great location to meet up with family and friends, large enough to cater for groups and business trips and with the optionally of having The Coppice function room.
What a treat. Spectacular view across the valley and hills. Great base for walking. Local pub is very friendly and good home cooked food. Owners very helpful and accommodating. And to have a pool and jacuzzi a big bonus. All very clean and tidy. Definitely will return, great meeting place with friend too.
Vale farm cottages are the perfect getaway for families, groups or couples!
Being based on a working farm it was lovely to spot tractors working from the huge window of the cottage. On-site swimming pool is a great addition with no added charge! The kids loved it. The small outside play area just outside the cottages was great for the kids to burn off some energy. The oak cottage is like Home away from home- plenty of space for all!
Village of Brecon not far away in car- brilliant Chinese!
Thank you Danielle and Tom, fabulous hosts and we will most definitely be back!
Although this cottage slept 4,only two of us stayed here for the weekend celebrations.
What a stunning place to stay, despite the poor weather there was loads to do.
