This place is gorgeous and we loved our time here. Couple of small things nothing major but just to let you know for future bookings. Main door was very stubborn to open and close. Coffee jar was almost empty and coffee was hard so not been change for a while and we didnt have coal for the fire pit let out or in the shed that was also hard to open and close. We wanted something different and the Sanderling provided it in abundance ! A unique way to spend our special anniversary and located in stunning surrounds with fantastic views. The view lying in the raised bed looking out over fields of hay bales to the coast and Low Newton was superb. Everything you need and the luxury of the hot tub after a days walking is amazing. The village with its cracking pubs and great food was perfectly placed and a stroll back after to round off the evening was a fantastic way to end each day. An excellent location and a very nice house. Plenty of space for everyone and fabulous sea views from the balcony. We were lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins and an otter feeding one evening.
We absolutely loved our little hideaway & so much so we have booked again for next year!! We loved our welcome treats & beautiful little home with the most amazing views. It offered tranquility & a comfortable space for 4 adults & a dog. We could easily walk to meet our friends staying at the caravan site & to the pubs & beach. Thank you to all the Team at Mains Cottages - we will be back!!
Great layout for extended family holiday, bed and pillows were spot on, one of the few places I have stayed where the bed and pillows suited me perfectly. Games room was fantastic and got a lot of use by all the family, having the separate conservatory, TV room and reading room as well as the games room meant if anyone wanted alone space they didn’t need to go to their bedroom which was great for those doing the odd bit of work while there.
