Llanfendigaid Estate has four properties: Llanfendigaid (sleeps 17). Dove Cottage (sleeps 4), Stable Cottage (sleeps 4) and The Cow Shed (sleeps 6). All share a 28' x 14' indoor heated pool and can be found by the sea at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park. They are all Grade II* listed building which means they are of exceptional historic interest and are graded 4* or 5* by Visit Wales.
- Only one hand towel for 2 people. There should be one each.
- The "cork" bath mat looked bad and should be replaced with a washable towelling mat.
- It would be useful and more comfortable to have a chair in the bedroom.
- More hangers needed in wardrobes.
- On arrival, the sink in one bedroom was blocked. When contacted graham fixed this .
- More cups needed for use with dish washer
A cosy cottage in a converted farmyard. We enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the accomodation, although I do have the scars on my head to show for the low ceilings/door frames!
There is no mobile signal at all in this location. Broadband (via satellite) is provided but is slow and can't be relied upon (we couldn't add more than one phone to it and it seemed to completely grind to a halt for days at a time - coinciding with the big house being occupied?) We enjoyed a great family holiday in this interesting house in August.Our family ranged in age from 8 years to 92 years and we enjoyed the lovely spacious rooms,the gardens and grounds and the swimming pool in particular.It was lovely that 17 people could all sit down to eat in the dining room with its large table for meals and board games.The bedrooms were attractive and the beds very comfortable..The kitchens were very well equipped for a large party and it was good to have a very large fridge and freezer..The two sitting rooms ensured a comfy chair for everyone. The cottage was brilliantly refurbished, with plenty of outside space and great facilities. We had highs and lows in terms of weather, but the accommodation provides all that you require, whatever the weather.
