We stayed at Turshacan for three nights, was the most beautiful place. The house, location, views, simply the best. Owner has thought of everything to make stay as comfortable as possible. Everything in the house top of the range would recommend this holiday home to everyone, 5 star luxury. Cannot wait to go back.
Saorsa is a new property, built and furnished with comfort and functional use in mind. It could comfortably accommodate 6 adults, with large bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. For us, it was just my wife and I and our small Cockapoo dog and we loved returning each day to a clean, comfortable and warm house, with all the modern amenities. A modern log burner and the 50+” TV, made for enjoyable evenings. As it was our first time in the Scottish countryside, we spent a lot of time travelling to places such as Loch Lomond and St Andrews, which we really enjoyed but in reality the local scene...more
Superb views from a beautiful residence. All facilities are of a high standard. A perfect holiday for us.
This is the second time we have stayed here and again we found it very well equipt , the adition of the patio is very nice , we will be back.
We arranged our stay at fairly short notice and Angela at Highland Perthshire Holiday Homes was extremely helpful. Ben Macdui is very well equipped and beautifully furnished and presented. It is a holiday home you could move into.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you, we've had a wonderful 10 days in Tarmachan. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. I must also note that it's the first place we've stayed that is managed and cleaned by a company (rather than the owner) that is actually genuinely clean!! It's a real 'home from home'. The only thing we thought needed improvement was the mattress on the master bed. It's firm which we like, but I could totally feel the springs which lead to an uncomfortable nights sleep - it doesn't seem to fit with the high end feel to the property. We also had a ve...more
Wonderful view on the lake and surroundings only concern: WIFI access is limited in term of bandwith
It really is perfect, secluded, quiet, dog friendly, luxury, we could not fault it and are looking at booking it again. Although the golf course bridge is closed now, its an easy walk round the older part of the course which gets you in to Aberfeldy quickly took us about 15 mins.
We stayed here in August for a family wedding in nearby Kenmore and a relaxing holiday . The house and gardens are beautiful and we felt at home straightaway - the kitchen is well equipped and the living room is really comfortable. The house is light and airy and all bedrooms are spacious. The garden is large and divided into several areas with plenty of seating - lots of rabbits and birds to watch as well as red squirrel. There are plenty of things to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Castle Menzies and walking around Aberfeldy and Kenmore along the Rob Roy Way.
The house is very comfortable and in a beautiful position with views of the river. Kenmore is a lovely village with good restaurants
They said it was pet friendly and I can understand they would have rules about having pets but our well behaved dog was only allowed in 2 rooms the kitchen and snug which limited us as we couldn't use the beautiful upstairs with the stunning views as much as we would have liked
My daughter & I returned to the Crown Apartment in Aberfeldy for a second year running, this lovely unspoilt town in beautiful Scotland has everything we need for a quiet getaway break in our busy lives.we recommend the delicatessen where one can buy 'Mary's homemade meals',..no slaving in the kitchen for us! Another great plus is the delightful Watermill bookshop.i could go on and on better that you go see for yourselves.
