Both the cottage and the location are beautiful. It worked perfectly for a weekend get together with friends from around the country. We relaxed in the hot tub, had a walk in the countryside, and ate in a local pub in the evening. Definitely recommend. Thank you!
Great stay and setting / rooms cottage & facilities. Hot tub great. Pool booking great fun. Don’t think you need to charge extra £25 for 6th guest above 5 when staying in a 8 berth cottage for 4 nights a bit penny pinching. Will stay again the bar was good
The cottage was a lovely place to stay, shame about the weather but that isn't anybody's fault. Both my daughters loved using the hot tub, especially after the long drive up. The cottage itself was very well equipped, with everything that you could have wanted for your stay. I did have a little trouble getting up when seated as I have mobility problems but I managed. The beds were extremely comfortable, something that I think is very important when you are on holiday. We went for a walk around the grounds which we all thought were lovely and very well maintained. We spent an amazing weekend celebrating my husband's birthday at Dinkley cottage. The cottage was lovely and clean and well equipped. It has underfloor heating so was lovely and warm. The hot tub was great! All towels and robes were provided. There is a swimming pool and spa which you can use for an extra charge. If there is a large group of people you can hire it just for yourselves. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. This was a lovely cottage to stay in for ten people of widely differing ages. It was light and spacious with plenty of seating and room to move about freely. A slight criticism would be that the furniture is now a little tired and saggy. The hot tub was a great hit with all of us and it was a boon to have all en-suite bathrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and did everything to make our short stay comfortable and memorable. We would love to return.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sherburn Cottage. The cottage was very spacious, much bigger than expected. The welcome pack is very helpful and detailed explaining what to do and how everything works. Kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils and pots needed to cook. We would deffo visit again.

This our 3rd time of renting Somerwood, and it never fails to disappoint. The outside hot tub area has moved to a more easily reached part of the outside, and the addition of a huge outdoor table and chairs is a boon. We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary celebrations with our families, and the new pool and spa is superb, finished to such a high standard. The bar is a welcome addition too. John, Liz and Abi are the perfect hosts, and Molly is great looking after the spa areas. If you haven't sampled Ribble Valley Holiday Homes, do yourself a favour and enjoy a peaceful stay.
We had a lovely stay for my wife's 50th birthday. The whole family loved the house and there was plenty to keep us all entertained from age 1 to 80. The house is well stocked with everything you would need for a great time. We would highly recomend this for a family celebration.
