Robyn’s Retreat is our cosy 2 bedroom apartment located just a short stroll from York City Centre.
Just a 10 minute walk from York Barbican, Clifford’s Tower and The York Dungeons in the centre of York, via a scenic walk by the River Ouse, makes for the perfect location for exploring the history of York, whilst avoiding the hustle and bustle of a busy city.
Heading away from the City Centre, York’s Designer Outlet, McArthur Glen is just an 8 minute drive away. There are also local amenities just a stone throw away as you head into the lovely village of Fulford, including the Village pub, Café’s, Pharmacies and a Sainsburys local within a 2 minutes’ walk.
As you enter the property, this lovely ground floor apartment offers an open plan living, kitchen and dining space. The kitchen provides all of the electrical appliances you could need for any length of stay, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, hob, oven, fridge with an icebox and a slow cooker. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook a basic meal to enjoy at the dining table. The living space provides a comfortable sofa, looking onto large smart flat screen TV, ideal for cosying up and watching your favourite programmes after a busy day exploring York’s attractions.
Heading through to the master bedroom, you will find a King bed, fitted wardrobes and a desk space with a mirror. You will also find a door leading out into the private courtyard.
The second bedroom is fitted with a study bed. Ideal for those who require a work space or those with children. The bed will be made up as a comfortable double bed upon arrival, but can very easily be transformed into a desk space with a seat, opening up the room and maximizing the space magnificently. This room also has the added benefit of door leading out on the courtyard.
The courtyard space consists of a modern patio, with lighting and a small table, chairs and parasol.
The main bathroom boasts a free standing bath, modern tiling and a separate shower cubicle.
Each of the beds offer hotel quality bed linens and towels for your use.
Free WIFI is provided for the duration of your stay. There is also a hairdryer and ironing facilities available allowing you to pack that little bit lighter.
Free parking for one car in a private car park at the rear of the property, accessible from the courtyard is also available.
