22 humans and 4 dogs stayed across the farmhouse and barn. It was absolutely delightful and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Both properties had everything we could need for our stay. The games room is an added bonus and the kids were able to roam between the properties to use it. We saw lots of cows, peacocks and bats at night. There is a little lake at the farmhouse and everyone enjoyed feeding the fish and using the rowing boat. The dogs had lots of space to run around and thanks to Sarah and James for all the dog treats! We booked very last minute, after the cancellation of a different property we’d booked elsewhere. James and Sarah were helpful and responsive throughout. We loved the property and would definitely book again. Meals for 14 were easy to prepare in the kitchen and having an open plan lounge area next to where food was being prepared was a plus. We didn’t go too far afield, but the walk to Harberton was great (interesting Church and lovely pub). The hot tub was appreciated!
Lovely accommodations and for an old farmhouse, incredibly warm. Logs provided if open fire was needed but we only used for the first evening. Hot tub and lake to dip in were a wonderful bonus. Glorious walks and a visit to Totnes were enjoyed.
