We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cirrus. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms suited our group makeup very well. A large sunny garden (when it's out) with plenty of outdoor seating. A few minutes stroll to the beach but not frontline, although there are small glimpses of the sea through the houses in front of you. Overall a very comfortable, spacious and welcoming holiday house. We are so pleased we chose this accommodation for our annual 3 girls weekend away break. The house is our favourite from the past 15 years of doing this. It is clean and warm with ample space and walking distance to both beach and the village highstreet. Our only complaint if you could really call it that was that the house was alittle cold when we arrived in the two main bedrooms and the towel rails never came on to dry towels after showering. We went through the manual but could not find how to turn them on. The large space which is the kitchen, living and dining area has everything you need. The kitchen facilities are fantastic, I have even ordered some of the all clad cookware for home as I loved it so much. Thankyou for providing a wonderful house with top notch facilities.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Cirrus. It’s in a great location for accessing the beach and amenities at East and West Wittering. The house is well appointed with everything you might need for your stay. We hope to come back!



Lovely spacious house, close enough to walk to the beach with all you need in a good home!

Great house for a big family or 2 families, nicely furnished and decorated throughout, despite not being able to use the front door!!!!!
Close enough to East Wittering beach and Shore Road.
The flow upstairs, very spacious, although felt like lots of doors!!
Grass in the garden - don't walk on it barefooted, ouch!

Dear Felicity Thank you for your lovely review. I just wanted to clarify for the benefit of future guests that you can use the front door. The key is with all the other external door keys in the kitchen drawer as indicated in the property information notes. The owner just put the side door key in the key safe as the key safe is right next to that door. With regards to the lawn, I had not been made aware of any thistles previously but have informed the owner and she will get the gardener on to it. Sorry for any inconvenience. We had a lovely stay at Cirrus , which is a very well appointed house with plenty of room inside and outside for young children to play , when the weather is not so good. Bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for a family visit of 6 adults and 2 youngsters

We stayed at Cirrus over Christmas and were delighted with the property. It is of a high standard, tastefully furnished, immaculate with a well appointed kitchen, plenty of light, and has a great open plan feel to the ground floor. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and of a good size. Plenty of modern amenities and we were pleasantly surprised that a Christmas tree had been thoughtfully included. We can highly recommend this beautiful property.

A fantastic house located one road behind East Wittering beach. Brand new, clean and very functional.
Amanda from Wellies and Windbreaks was very helpful with advice regards the area and easily contactable. A wonderful place for a family holiday!

The house itself is great - open plan and very modern (though this was expected given the high rental cost), though there were several issues with the blinds in the bedrooms, that did detract from our stay.

One of the rooms (with sofa bed) had automatic blinds that were broken and stuck open on arrival. As the sloping windows are directly above the bed, this led to direct sunshine shining directly on the bed, which is the height of summer meant we were unable to use this room, and had to sleep on the carpet in another room! This was reported to Wellies and Windbreaks on arrival, and we were told the owners were aware of the issue. No alternative was provided during our stay, or discount provided (this was effectively a 3 bed house, marketed as a 4 bed house). Very disappointing customer service.

In another of the rooms, no blinds had been installed, and instead a cheap suction black out blind was provided. It took some time to fix the suction black out blind, as it was did not fit the triangular window snuggly, and to avoid the replicating this effort everyday, we had limited option but to leave it on all week, turning a bright and airy room, in to a dark and uninviting one. Not what you would expect for a modern house at this price.

In summary, the house is great, but based on our experience, the customer service is below par for a property of this value.

I wish to clarify to situation with the blinds at Cirrus for the benefit of future guests. There was an issue with one of the electric velux blinds in the small bedroom during the Merriott family's stay. The owner had tried to get an engineer out before these guests arrival but it was not possible to arrange a visit in time. It had been damaged by guests in the previous week and we only found out about it the day the Merriot's arrived. This situation was communicated to the guests and unfortunately it was not possible to find an alternative solution for the week. The blind was fixed before the next guests arrived and that room has three fully operating black out blinds now. The window in the larger bedroom had to have a custom built set of shutters made for it given its triangular shape. We did apologise to guests for the inconvenience and had put in suction black out blinds to ensure that guests could sleep. The shutters were fitted by the end of the summer and look fantastic. New photos will be uploaded to the site when the owner gets them done but I seek to reassure guests that all bedrooms have fully functioning coverings.

We found Cirrus a well turned out house and we enjoyed our stay there. The house was clean and airy and comfortable and considering we didn’t have very good weather for half of our stay this was quite important. We were the first paying guests at the house and they were short of quite a basic few items e.g. kitchen scissors, children’s plastic plates and cups, small kitchen knives etc. but this will all be rectified very quickly I’m sure.
On the negative side, the garden furniture was not very comfortable and was very basic it would’ve been nice to have something more comfortable to sit and enjoy the weather. Also, a big negative for us was the driveway – the entrance is too narrow and positioned that you can only drive one car in at a time and then spend quite a lot of time going backwards and forwards trying to get it into a small space near the front door to enable the second car to drive in. Both neighbours either side had drive in drives for two cars which made it so much easier. it happened so often that the car near the front door was always needed to go out when other car didn’t need to, so it was inconvenient and time-consuming and unnecessary. The little wall that narrows the driveway is unnecessary and it would be much better if two cars had access to drive straight in.

It was good to meet you during your stay and as requested, I did buy the scissors, knives and children's cutlery and crockery for you so you had it all to use during your holiday. I am glad I could rectify these small basic items so quickly. I accept the point about the driveway perhaps being a little inconvenient for cars to arrive and leave at the same time but having off-street parking for 3 cars is quite a luxury so close to the beach. The owners is not able to amend this but I do accept the point and am sorry it was frustrating for you. Following our conversation on the phone, I ackcowledge that you had meant to put location and value as a 4 not a 3. Sadly I can't amend this but it will be good for future guests to know what you meant to do. The location really is fabulous and I am delighted that you felt the house was good value.
