Emberside benefits from a unique and enviable position within beautiful Warkworth Village. Encompassing the best of a central location, with the privacy of a country abode, this gated plot is set back from the main street of the village, giving privacy to enjoy the manicured, enclosed and level gardens that wrap around the property. There is car parking for up to 5 cars easily, including under canopy, and the views of Warkworth Castle are arguably the best in the village. Emberside sleeps up to 8 guests and welcomes two dogs to stay. This is property you'll want to stay in, to have privacy whilst enjoying all the central village amenities - quite literally - on your doorstep.

What a wonderful house located at the heart of Warkworth. The rooms are large and bright and the enormous garden was a delight for the dogs, (and the robo-mower a big fascination!).

Location was ideal for walks around the village, river and castle. We tried out the Masons Arms and the Hermitage Inn; both very welcoming with good food and ales, and we also had a delicious meal at Bertrams. Warkworth really is a lovely village.

Along the coast we were spoilt for good beaches pretty much all the way up to Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. Low Newton-by-the-Sea was an unexpected and wonderful find - we recommend a visit.

On a wet day try out the distillery and Anglo Saxon museum at Ad Gefrin - it’s well worth a visit.

Overall, a great holiday, lovely house and great location.

This is now our favourite Home from Home a beautiful house expertly presented with all the amenities one could wish for. It is just a short walk to the sea. Our dog loved the garden. Thank you so much for helping to arrange a special trip for us.

Emberside is a perfect property for a break in Northumberland. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are so comfortable with crisp white sheets. The different sitting areas downstairs gave us so many options and the view of the castle is a bonus. The garden was very well maintained and although it wasn't warm enough to eat outside we were able to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine in the morning or a drink in the evening. We were very appreciative of the contact made both before and during the stay to check that we were happy with arrangements.

What a fabulous week in Emberside- a truly special house which has recently been upgraded to the highest of standards. Comfortable beds with luxurious bathrooms including 2 en-suite, a fully supplied kitchen including a large American fridge freezer ( with ice on tap) and the most fabulous garden, made for a very special week indeed. Bertram’s across the road, was the birthday meal and the food was fantastic with lovely attentive staff too.
Warkworth is a great base to explore the area - we could walk to Amble where we had a stunning seafood platter in the fish shack ( beware- service was very slow but the food worth it).
We also golfed at Workworth ( a tricky 9 hole links) and Alnmouth which we played twice as we loved it.
A special week to celebrate a milestone- thanks for having us!

Honeybee Cottage & Sunny Cottage, I’d always looked through the gates of Emberside, imagine my delight when I saw this property had now been taken on by Coquet Cottage’s !!
Everything in this property surpassed expectations, plus house & gardens were huge !
Took my daughter & her family with us for their first visit to Northumberland & they also fell in love with everything.

We have had the most perfect week at Emberside. This house is absolutely stunning, with the most amazing gardens. We could not fault it. Every single thing has been thought of - from cocktail umbrellas to dog towels, board games, quality kitchen equipment and sumptuous beds and bedding.
The garden is beautiful with quality furniture - and so secure that even our escape-artist dachshunds couldn’t find a way out!
Emberside is immaculate and we enjoyed every minute we spent in it. It was a joy to return to after days out in beautiful Northumberland.

Emberside is an outstanding holiday property. It is beautifully presented. The gardens are secure for dogs and delightful for children and adults. It is just a 10 minute walk to miles of sandy beach. We loved every detail of this very stylish property and hope to book again for next year.

A beautiful house, spacious and well proportioned, perfect for a family get together. Emberside is ideally situated in the heart of Warkworth. Wonderful garden with glorious views of the castle. We would definitely revisit.

A very warm comfortable house in a beautiful garden. The owners have thought of everything needed for a large family group. The boot room is very well set up for dogs with bowls, treats etc provided. The living room has lots of games and very comfortable sofas. Overall an excellent property.

We have just had a 2 night break at Emberside. It is a fantastic house which felt like home form home. Everything you can think of has been provided and to a very high standard. The furnishings are amazing and the kitchen equipment, crockery and glass ware were all exceptional. We have stayed in Warkworth and surrounding area a lot over the years and this is probably the nicest house we have stayed in. Would love to come back in warmer weather to make the most of the beautiful private garden.
Location wise..perfect for us as one of our favourite places to eat is Bertram’s and this is opposite.
Can’t wait to return

This house was just amazing. It could not have been any better. Lovely selection of local treats in the welcome pack which were tasty and luxurious. We did not want for anything when staying here. A few lovely individual shops in the village and a good selection of pubs to choose from, all in walking distance and a very nice restaurant literally opposite. The beach is also walking distance. Perfect!
