Cae Du is a lovely place and Tim is excellent to deal with. There's plenty to do around the house and garden (which is beautifully kept) and it makes a wonderful base for exploring Snowdonia - whether you like the free glories of nature (hill and mountain walking) or ridiculously expensive 'thrills' (like the zip-wire place down the road). We will be back for our next stay in a couple of years – I hope! Roly
