The village of Great Tew, famous for the Great Tew Estate, is one of the most beautiful locations in England. With thatched cottages at every turn and quiet meandering lanes taking you out into the surrounding picturesque countryside it’s hard to wish for a better setting. Thatch on the Green is in the heart of this small village set in a raised position above the village green. From the fully enclosed garden you have spectacular views across the rolling countryside. The cottage is two 17th century houses combined to create a family holiday home sleeping six which offers privacy and a truly secluded Cotswold escape. The well renowned Falkland Arms and Quince and Clover café are a stone's throw from your front door and you can enjoy a country stroll to Soho Farmhouse. This ideal location is only 6 miles from Chipping Norton and the rest of the Cotswolds are waiting to be explored.

Beautiful, if a tad ‘tired’, holiday house in a fantastic location .

Lovely holiday house in a superb location. Great Tew is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds and the village pub and tea room are gems on the doorstep!

Perfectly presented just as one imagines with a thatched cottage.
Beds lovely and comfortable
Headroom a bit tight for tall people in upstairs twin room and bathroom but again what you would expect in a thatched cottage.
Beautiful furnishings and lovely appliances.
Outside garden area lovely and looked beautiful with fairy lights though not used as the weather was damp and windy which made the inside all the more cosy.
Bolthole Retreats always lovely to deal with.
