Wander around the village, tour its vast selection of independent shops and discover its unique history. Close to much-loved attractions such as Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, Broadway Tower and Bourton-on-the-Water, this bolthole reflects all the qualities of a wonderful rural escape.

I had a wonderful stay at Lemon Tree Cottage and would happily return. The cottage itself is beautiful, extremely comfortable and very thoughtfully appointed. Everything felt well cared for, from the kitchen, which had everything I needed for a longer stay, to the lovely bathroom and bath, which became a particular favourite after days out exploring the Cotswolds.

The setting is incredibly peaceful. In the evenings I could hear sheep in the surrounding countryside and owls at night, and the private garden was a lovely place to relax. It really felt like a proper countryside escape.

The location was also ideal. Broadway is only a few minutes away by car, which made it very easy to enjoy the village while still having the quiet and privacy of the cottage.

What really stood out, though, was how kind, welcoming and helpful the people looking after the property were throughout my stay. They could not have been more delightful and genuinely made me feel very well looked after.

I stayed for 25 nights, so I had plenty of time to experience the cottage properly, and it was an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable place to call home for nearly a month. I would absolutely recommend Lemon Tree Cottage.
