Forming part of the Euridge Estate, Ivy Cottage boasts a gloriously rural location with far-reaching views across the valley. As the end cottage in a pretty terrace of three, this is a charming place to stay amidst a gentle landscape untouched by time. Tucked into the countryside, yet only a few miles from the historic city of Bath, this delightful dog-friendly cottage offers the best of both worlds. There are miles of footpaths from the front door and a good food pub a ten-minute drive away. Sleeping nine guests (maximum of eight adults) over four bedrooms, including a bunk room that younger guests will love, a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a large, characterful kitchen-diner and a private patio overlooking the rolling countryside, Ivy Cottage is the picture-perfect Cotswold escape.

Overall a great place, and we'll definitely be back.

Preparation was a bit sloppy though, and we had to ask for a few things:
When we arrived, there was no:
1/ Camp cot
2/ Fire wood
3/ bbq

But host response was timely and attentive and all of these issues were remedied immediately.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay at Ivy Cottage. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. However, we are disappointed to read your feedback that there was no cot, firewood or BBQ ready for your arrival and we are sorry that these were not ready for your arrival. However, we are glad to hear that the property manager rectified this for you. We hope to see you all again in the Cotswolds soon.

Very soft and comfortable beds
Warm cottage
Only issue was that there was only one key for the cottage, in the key lock by the back door of the building, which made it a bit stressful when we first arrived as we couldn't get into the house easily!

Lovely cottage for families, kids played all day outside and explored. We did some walks from the house and also visited bath and westonbirt arboretum very close by. The house and the nature at the place are amazing. Definitely coming back.

Perfect for our stay - the big kitchen table with views over the valley meant we rarely used the living room! Kitchen was well equipped and we had enough space for 8 adults, 1 child and a baby.

Parking space is a bit limited so worth checking out if you’re heading there with multiple cars!

Great location, however the property was really not clean. There was no vacuumcleaner, so also not much we could do about it ourselves. The beds were small and not so comfortable, which led to bad nightrest. The waterboiler really neads to be replaced, this is dangerous, the water just pours out. Could you please take care of this?
The curtains in the living room are really old, worn out.

We're sorry to read this and it comes as a surprise as we have never had these complaints before. The house manager has been made aware. In terms of the water boiler, we believe you mean the kettle. Perhaps there was too much water or the top was not closed which is why it overflowed. The mattresses are of high quality too.
