A gorgeous Cotswold house set in a very pretty village. Very clean and in good condition.
Large well maintained garden although not secure for small dogs due to the style pf the farmhouse gate. Beds very comfy. The only shower was on the 2nd floor. The main bathroom on the first floor was a bath with a hand held shower.
The local pub the bakers arms is a 6 minute walk and serves lovely food.
We would have appreciated some tin foil and washing up liquid (the bottle was empty) but these were only minor niggles. We went out and bought some and left them for the next guests.
A nice walk across the fields to chipping campden was about an hour. This is also a lovely small town and worth a visit. Great location for walking as lots of lovely walks from the door. Have already booked our return visit.

The house is practically brand new and beautiful. The layout of the rooms is fantastic. Ideal for our family. The location of the house was superb. However, the directions were not. The instruction "until you see it" is not helpful with no streetlights and early darkness.
The people at the pub were able to help us, though. We spent some lovely days here. For a longer stay, however, a few small things would need to be provided: a first-aid kit, oil for squeaky doors, or one or two washing machine capsules. Just minor things to consider given the new condition of the place.
We would love to come back.

When we arrived at Garden cottage the first impression was lovely. Directions could have been a little clearer to the actual house.
Everything was lovely and clean and kitchen well equipped with everything you could need. Lovely large garden but considering dogs are allowed it wasn’t secure for them just to be outside without supervision.
Mind your head upstairs as all the ceilings are low. Bins could have been provided in the bathrooms/ bedrooms but otherwise everything was thought of.
It’s a beautiful house in a quiet village with lots of footpaths nearby. The Bakers Arms welcomes dogs and was within walking distance, lovely staff and yummy food.
Overall I’d highly recommend the house, everything was decorated and furnished to a high standard, very comfy and we felt at home very quickly.

Great cottage that has been recently refurbished with all modern conveniences and beautifully appointed. It features a beautiful, large back garden and the cottage is private and set well off the road.

One thing worth noting for winter stays is that the property does not have a fireplace.

I would definitely book and stay here again, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

A newly refurbished (2026), high spec, thatched barn at Far End, Broad Camden. With its own drive, set back from the country lane, easy parking for 3+ cars, lots of garden seating and lawn space.

Bedrooms have low beams, which add to the charm, unless you are over 6 foot!
Bathrooms water pressure fluctuates, and both showers are in/over baths.

5 mins walk to the village pub. 20 mins easy walk to Chipping Camden High Street (there is also a walk through fields, following the Monarch Way, not suitable for heels or in the dark!).

It was a please to stay at the property. Added bonus that we met a very friendly 'Dave The Thatcher', what a skill he has.

The cottage was lovely bit head height challenging in top bedroom but apart from that it was beautifully furnished

Great garden, lots of space to run and play. The kids and dog loved it. It's not secure for dogs though, so if yours likes to escape this night not be the place for you. The house is lovely and had everything we needed.

A few garden toys would have been a nice touch, but not a big deal.

Overall our stay has been really good, although a few things disappointing with our stay, they need a shower unit in 1st floor bathroom and not a shower attachment as this was very awkward.
The house was really good and very comfortable overall. Small stones surround the house which our dog didn’t like.
The 3rd bedroom on top floor is not good if you are above 6 foot as very low doors and ceilings, as is doors on bedroom doors on 1st floor (my head is still sore from cracking it several times).
Would I go back !! probably if they changed the shower set up in 1st floor bathroom.
Really beautiful setting overall and very peaceful area

Beautiful home with every comfort possible. Customer service was top notch. We will be back again and again. Only 2 points to make a dressing table and mirror to get ready are much needed and the main TV should be fully working with all channels. Apart from that it was everything and more we could have wished for

The cottage was lovely. It was kitted out with everything we needed including babies crib. WiFi/internet was great for some remote working.

Cleaning staff were attentive and provided a great service. The lawn was cut twice during our stay. Garden is huge with plenty of seating.

Location is excellent you can walk to chipping campden on pavements the whole way with excellent walking, cycling from the door stop.

Overall, an excellent stay and would highly recommend.
