A true hidden gem if you’re looking for a few days of peace & quiet as well as a convenient location for many of the Cotswolds attractions. The cottage has been fitted out to a high end standard & was immaculate both in terms of cleanliness & decorative order. If you fancy cooking whilst on holiday, (we didn’t do too much of that), then the kitchen is really well-equipped with appliances & just about every utensil you could need. Surrounded by countryside as far as the eye can see. The nearest road, (well not really a road but a county lane), is 1/4 mile away along a private driveway. Peaceful country walks right from the cottage door. We walked to Daylesford along some of the prettiest & best maintained tracks/bridleways you’re ever likely to find. All in all a wonderful break. We will be recommending to family & friends, without any hesitation. A big thanks to the owner’s & maintenance teams.

Stayed for 5 nights at the hideaway on the Clayton’s property.
Lovely little place, really well decorated and clean. Steps out straight onto open field so the dog was happy.
Long driveway to gates so was lovely and quiet at night. Location was really good for all the Cotswold highlights…lovely little pub walking distance just be aware London prices!
Just a couple of tiny niggles, toaster was broken on one side so had to flip bread to toast both sides…VERY small basic tv with remote that didn’t always work when buttons pressed.
Power cut one day reported to the management company via voicemail but never had any reply to message, thought that was disappointing considering the owner would be paying them.
Overall really enjoyed the property and would definitely return..

Regarding the toaster, the owners would like to thank you for bringing this to their attention, and they will repair it. Additionally, they have put new batteries in the remote control! Moreover, they're sorry to hear you didn't receive a response from the management company. It was a power cut across the North Cotswolds, so it was out of their control, unfortunately.

The cottage was perfectly located, but also nicely hidden away and peaceful - but still within walking distance of the village.
The furnishings, decor and finish of the cottage were really tasteful, just what you would expect of a beautiful Cotswold home.
Lovely welcome package, and really easy and flexible check in.
Beautiful grounds and lovely to see the chickens too!

The location and overall charm of the property was excellent. However the bedding and furniture proved at odds. The sofas in the living area were uncomfortable and an odd size. The bedding pillows and mattress in particular were very lumpy and very uncomfortable.

The Property Management team were inconsisitent with the replies to requests.

If they can address these concerns the Hideaway would be near perfect.
